The fifth season of the series “The Crown” will be released in November

It is already known that its main topic will be the relationship between Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Their roles will be played by Dominic West and Elizabeth Debicki. Imelda Staunton, star of the British theater scene and “Harry Potter,” will appear as Queen Elizabeth II. Her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, will be played by Jonathan Pryce – you may recognize him from his role as Pope Francis in Two Popes. Leslie Manville will replace Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret.

More good news for fans of the series – the fifth season will not be the last. Show creator Peter Morgan announced that “The Crown” will be renewed for a sixth season.

The release date for the fifth season of “The Crown” was announced at the Netflix Tudum Global Forum, where fans were announced about the upcoming series and movies. For example, the third season of the series “The Bridgertons” and the prequel “Queen Charlotte,” which will tell about the ascension to the throne of the charismatic queen from the series, have been announced. The audience was also shown an excerpt from Tim Burton’s film “Wednesday” about the Addams Family. The iconic roles of Morticia and Gomez will be played by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Louis Guzmán.
