Big talk about NFT: in art, in fashion, and simply in our lives

When: September 26, 7 p.m.
Location: Celebro Media Studios
Ticket: £100/ free for ZIMA Club members (RSVP: contact@zima.club)

NFT (non-fungible token) is a special type of cryptocurrency asset, which confirms the exclusive rights of its owner to a valuable and one-of-a-kind digital object. NFT is stored in blockchain registries, it is virtually impossible to fake, and it guarantees both the originality of the item and the ability to prove your rights to it at any time.

The objects that are sold as NFTs can be different works of art: from digital paintings and unique items of clothing to musical compositions, photographs and even ballet parts. We asked experts Evgeny Svyatsky (artist, member of the interdisciplinary art group AES+F), Alina Davey (senior director of the auction house Sotheby’s), Elena Sims (entrepreneur, investor in technological startups) and Ekaterina Kukhareva (fashion designer) to talk about the most interesting of them and about why (and whether) to invest in NFT. The talk will be moderated by Natasha Tsukanova (financier, founder of Xenon Capital Partners).
