The outdoor Borough Yards at Soap Yard can seat 100 people and is located under the railroad viaduct. So if the typical British weather hits, you’ll be able to stay relatively dry. Come early to get a seat on a sun lounger, and to wind down after an intense tennis match, go shopping in the local stores or for dinner in the restaurants, which are plentiful in the area.
Islington Square will be broadcasting matches for free – for all days of Wimbledon. On the weekends there will be plenty of snacks from Megan’s, OMNOM, Bewliehill, Selv Roastery and The Great Chase, as well as classic and non-alcoholic cocktails from Bottle Cocktail Shop. For little bored spectators, there will be an arts and crafts workshop where they can try their hand at decorating tennis balls and more.
The beautiful wharf was once one of the UK’s busiest tea ports. Now it hosts a variety of cultural events, including live broadcasts of Wimbledon on a floating pontoon. With sun loungers, and cocktails, from 12 noon to 8pm every day – throughout the tournament.
