The band “Leningrad” again burst into the top of musical Olympus – this time on the “Loubutennah” with “beautiful” trousers. Sergey Shnurov joked at rehearsal, that they can be nothing else to do in the next two years – only to play “Loubutennah”. This, of course, the satire – by its tinted nail polish “Loubutennah” “Leningrad” has once again proved that they do not need to hold onto the old glory and “second-hand” hits.
Sergey says that he could not expect such an explosion of “Loubutenizma” that shook the Russian society. Nothing essentially new, revolutionary in the song itself nor in the video directed by Anna Parmas can he find.
“Any topic – eternity. Any. Nothing changes from the time of the coming of Jesus Christ. All topics that have influence on you are eternal. And if you’re using a dirty finger with overgrown nail trying to poke and successfully get into this eternity – this is the most pleasure!”, – says Sergey.
“He laughs best who laughs at himself,” – this formula could be the motto of the band “Leningrad”. Another item of this self-irony – poster of the upcoming concerts that the “Leningrad” could order by the most famous designers and the most expensive advertising agencies. However, Snurov acted differently – he announced a competition on the network “Instagram”, promising to 150 000 rubles, the author of the best, most “Leningrad” posters. The winning picture by anonymous person, where the pixel subject, similar to Shnurov, with a devilish twinkle in his eyes, is showing public cheeky red whether Einstein, or “Rolling Stones” tongue.
