ZIMA is a cultural and educational project that includes the website zimamagazine.com, an annual printed almanac and an offline club with a rich program of events. We create projects useful for the diaspora and organize meetings aimed at promoting and supporting the most important things that are concentrated in Russian-speaking culture abroad. We are always open to cooperation, glad to have new clients and ready to come up with a format that will be most effective for your business.
What are we good at?
Come up with partner integrations into our current projects. And also organize turnkey events of various formats and gather the right audience for them.
Select the best speakers and experts. We are trusted by well-known Russian-speaking figures, a friendly community in the UK, and readers around the world.
Telling stories. To familiarize the audience with the heroes of the diaspora, with their projects – creative, social, entrepreneurial, as well as with the events that take place in London and beyond.
Projects we are proud of:
- ZIMA Magazine’s special #Englishhome issue: 300+ pages in which we show the English home from its many different sides, most notably through an expatriate lens;
- Competitions and social projects to support the Russian-speaking diaspora in the UK. For example, the ZIMA StartUp startup competition (which ran for 4 consecutive years), the ZIMA Photo competition (which ran for two years), and the Artist of the Month competition, which ended in January 2025 and attracted over 160 participants.
- The charity premiere performance of Healing, which attracted over 800 people to the Theatre Royal Haymarket and raised over £600,000 for Gift of Life Foundation;
- Filming of the documentary “Fifteen Quarters” about Boris Grebenshchikov and premiere of the film at Curzon Mayfair;
- The Damn Questions show with Owen Matthews on ZIMA Magazine’s YouTube channel.
